10 Day FREE Trial

Book your 10 consecutive day, no-obligation trial.

Adults: what to expect at your first class

  1. There will be no rolling in the beginners' course.
  2. Don't worry about what to wear; we will provide you with a uniform.
  3. Your first 10 minutes will be an introduction to show you what you will be learning over the first 8 months.
  4. Don't worry about your level of fitness. You will develop this as you learn Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
  5. We are totally focused on street self-defence. To see GJJ in action watch UFC 1 to 4. NOT the current UFC: they are different.
  6. Your partner will be selected for you at your first class by the instructor, so you get someone with knowledge who will look after you.
  7. There is no need to pay for your first class, but we need a debit/credit card for you to start the trial so you can take the uniform home (£45 deposit). If you don't wish to continue, return the uniform and pay nothing: your deposit is returned.

Parents of children: what to expect at your first class

  1. Don't worry about what your child wears as we will loan them a uniform.
  2. There is no need to pay for your child's first class, but we need a debit/credit card for them to start the trial so you can take the uniform home (£38 deposit). If you don't wish to continue, return the uniform and pay nothing: your deposit is returned.
  3. Your child should have good fun while training and at the end of class they should want to come again. If they don't, we failed!

All you have to do is find your relevant class on the timetable and turn up on the day to take part in the full class. Please be aware that the 10-day trial is an unlimited membership active for 10 consecutive calendar days from your first session, not 10 sessions.

Reviews

What students and parents say

"I started as a complete beginner and have found the classes to be really good. Great instructors, well-organised, and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a clear curriculum, techniques are well drilled and taught thoroughly."

Alastair Hill

"I read the reviews before joining. The mat and place in general are always spotless. It never smells. The rules about etiquette and dress code are respected. Heidi at the desk will go the extra length to help."

Stephanie Dartinet

"I love that I can watch in class or nip next door and get a coffee. The lessons are 1 hour and you can change which lessons you attend each week."
