If you've been on the website in the last week you'll have noticed it looks different. That's because it is: we've rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up, and a lot of what used to happen on paper, on a spreadsheet or in a separate app now happens here.
First, the important bit. Please bear with us. A change this size always throws up the odd problem, and you'll find them before we do. If something doesn't work, a page looks wrong, or your details aren't what you expected, tell us: reply to any email from the academy, ring 0203 633 1333, or grab one of us at reception. Nothing you report is a nuisance. It's exactly what we need.
Here's what's new for you.
One login for everything Your login for watfordgjj.co.uk is now the same one you use for the online courses. Sign in once and you're in both. My account shows your details, your family, your bookings and anything you've ordered. If you don't have a login yet, ask at reception and we'll send you a link to set your password.
See exactly which lesson is on Every programme page now has its own class calendar, showing which numbered lesson is being taught in each class for the weeks ahead. If you're chasing a particular lesson for your card, you can see when it next comes round without asking.
Your belt card, online Your Fundamentals attendance card now lives on the site as well as in your hand. When an instructor marks you in for a lesson, the box is ticked on your digital card, so you can see your progress towards your Fundamentals belt from your phone. (Intermediate and children's cards are coming.)
Book a private session online Pick an instructor, a length and a time that suits, and pay online. The instructor confirms it, or suggests another time if that one's gone, and you'll get an email either way.
Families on one account Parents: your children are now on your account. You see everyone in one place, you sign for them, and the family discount is applied automatically: the dearest membership at full price, the second 15% off, the third and beyond 25% off.
Sign forms on your phone The membership agreement and the risk waiver can now be signed on a phone or tablet. No more paper copies to keep hold of.
Get the app Open the site on your phone and choose Get the app from the menu. It installs like any other app, opens straight to your account, and if you switch on notifications we can let you know about things like a class change or a lesson you're missing.
The shop, the notice board and the blog The shop is back (order online, collect and pay at reception), there's a notice board on the home page for anything you need to know this week, and every post from the old blog has come across, right back to 2014.
What's coming We're working through a list: more digital cards, better reminders about the lessons you still need, and a few things we'd rather show you than describe. If there's something you'd like the site to do, tell us that too.
